Please read the Embark Dog Training Terms and Conditions here: https://www.embarkdogtrainer.co.uk/embark-terms-and-conditions ***Please can I ask that all dogs on the social walks wear a harness unless this is impossible**** Book a place on the Embark Social Walk for an on-lead walk around Merriott, with tips on on loose-lead walking, polite greetings between dogs (or not! Keeping a distance is far more important for some dogs) and general obedience. We will be walking along a mixture of roads and country lanes, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. I'm afraid the minimum age limit for this social walk is 5 months old. For puppy social walks, please contact me. IMPORTANT - If your dog needs space from other dogs and/or people - please ensure they are wearing an 'I need space' or similar lead sleeve/ lead/ harness so that it is really clear to all other dog owners on the walk. Please do not bring an extension lead with you as these can be dangerous, particularly where multiple dogs and children are present. A lead that clips onto a collar or harness is perfect. For some dogs, being in the presence of other dogs may be very exciting, so i would recommend they wear a harness to ensure they do not cause any damage to their neck if they are likely to pull. No choke collars please. No slip leads please. No long lines please. Please bring water and water bowl for your dog. Suitable walking gear - may be muddy/ cold/ hot - who knows!! LOTS of tasty treats!
